【火狐】全面转入firefox2
前两天ff2 rc1-rc1 发布，也包含新的theme。今天将firefox 1.5 升级至 firefox 2。这已经是我第三次试图升级ff2。前两次分别是在alpha 3 和beta2 发布的时候，但很多插件都会有问题，甚至无法工作。今天一个插件一个插件的升，基本上一切搞定，毕竟已经是RC版。
- 三个插件换到特殊版本：ConQuery (special mod) / Tab Mix Plus (Dev build) / All-in-one sidebar (0.7 rc4)
- 另外用searchbar autosizer 替换了 optimiz tweak， 用 drag de go 替换了 super drag & go
- 省去了Mozilla spell checking & dictionary, search button, google suggest
Tab mix plus 还有一个大bug，就是地址栏输入url后，按回车无效，一定要点“转到”的按钮。
另外AIOS因为是rc4版，还没有加入在tab bar 左右插入按钮的功能，不知道正式版会不会加入。要不就得为delicious, tab catalog, and next please! 的按钮们再找地方了。
不过AIOS这个版本对自动打开和关闭side bar支持非常好，这样又可以用回maxthon的sidebar的操作方式了。而且还省了一个切换sidebar类别的按钮。
Conclusion (especially to wzy): 现在升级到ff2应该是时候了，整体上各种插件的功能都已经能够正常工作，速度感觉快了不少，而且界面漂亮了（ff1.5的theme不能用，我用 default 的）。也正好清理一下自己profile, pref.js从100多K，减少到30几K
btw: 终于搞定 performancing 对 live spaces的支持，这篇 post 是用performancing 发布的。不过似乎还不支持live spaces 的category。anyway，这两天各种工具开始逐步就绪了。
update:performancing 排版不太好用，这样我现在用windows live writer重新排了一下，再发布。毕竟是live spaces的官方客户端编辑器。
update2 (Sep, 25): 装ff2的时候，忘了装了一个插件，没在下面的extension list里面。但如果想扫除一切文字广告，那么强烈推荐：Remove It Permanently。计划过段时间，等有空了，我会写一系列firefox的介绍文章，到时候再详细说吧。
update3 (Aug, 14)：Tab mix plug的bug已经解决。AIOS for FF2支持tab bar左右插入按钮，不过必须通过about:config方式。
